For our office in Taipei we are looking for a freelance or full time Desktop Publisher and Layouter. Responsibilities: - Produce professionally designed and presented documents, according to specified design and presentation requirements, using multiple desktop publishing software
- Estimate cost, timing, quality control and insurance, file organization in folders and server
- Anticipate, plan and troubleshoot software issues, queries and support
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work co-operatively and jointly to provide high quality seamless customer service
Requirements: - Degree in Digital Media Design or related field
- Good English reading skills and excellent Chinese writing skills
- Proficient in one or more of the below software:
- InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- MS Office
- Acrobat
- post-script files
- PDF and plug-ins
- FrameMaker
- PageMaker
- Quark Express
